Guidelines for Youth Football Program Financial Awards
The Mac/Huard Fund will:
Award funds to support the operations of promising and developing youth football programs, or programs that have demonstrated a sudden growth in numbers.
Support amateur football efforts from the youth level through high school.
Support other worthy and related causes that promote youth football.
Preference for Mac/Huard Fund Youth Football Program Awards will be given to projects with the potential to have a transformative impact on the young people in the community. Successful applications will promote teamwork within the community and enlist the support of a cross-section of educators.
A Committee of the Howard Vandersea Maine Chapter of the NFF will make award selections. When considering grant requests, the Committee will often seek to match funds raised by the grantee from other organizations or individuals, to foster community partnerships.
Those selected for Youth Football Program Financial Awards will be asked to submit a one-page letter explaining how the grant funds were used and the impact generated.
The Committee will keep grant requests on file for three years.
Completed applications should be turned in complete via the google form link below by May 23rd 2025.
Those applicants selected for grant awards will be ineligible for three years for further funding.
